Ellen B. Purcell - Administrative

 

Ellen Purcell is the firm's Human Resources Director. Ellen is responsible for ensuring that all employees are provided with the daily support and solutions that keep our firm operating efficiently on an internal basis, thereby allowing firm members to provide a high level of services to our clients. She recommends and implements policies and procedures relating to all phases of an employee's experience at Hirschler Fleischer, including recruitment, selection, retention, development, work environment, compensation, benefits, training, mediation and recognition of stellar performance.

Ellen has over twenty years of experience in human resources and has held positions in retail and professional services environments. Ellen was formerly Human Resources Manager for several of the Richmond-based Thalhimers stores, and held a variety of positions in their Corporate Human Resources Division. She has in-depth experience in recruiting, compensation, performance management, customer service, interpersonal communication, coaching, and change management.
